Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level team member to support tax interview processes in a franchise office. You will enter client data and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with the client.

The role includes bookkeeping tasks and a focus on delivering superior service to every client. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus basic reading and math skills and proficiency with Windows-based programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
