Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist with tax interviews, enter client and W-2 information, and help assemble tax returns. You will review the finished product with clients, obtain signatures, and complete bookkeeping procedures, ensuring superior service for every client.

Strong Reading and Math skills, clear communication, and experience with Windows-based programs are preferred. Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills sufficient to complete the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information.
• Assist with closing of the interview by assembling the tax return and obtaining signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all clients receive superior service and perform other duties as assigned.
