Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Managing Director, Tax Operations to lead major operational programs across Tax. You will translate priorities into scalable operating models, drive governance, and coordinate with firmwide functions to advance transformation and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required or higher with related experience
• Fifteen or more years in operations, public accounting, or professional services environment
• Experience leading large, cross-functional programs from strategy to implementation

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic execution of Tax transformation initiatives and high-priority programs
• Oversee and improve the Tax operating model for consistency and scalability
• Establish governance routines, track performance, and ensure compliance and risk management
• Partner with Finance and Tax leadership to monitor budgets and performance trends
• Advise Tax leadership and align leaders across functions to priorities
