Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Managing Director, Tax Operations to lead major operational programs and enterprise initiatives across Tax, aligning strategy with governance and delivery. You will partner with Tax leadership to translate priorities into scalable operating models and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Fifteen or more years in operations, public accounting, consulting, or related field.
• Experience advising senior leaders in a highly collaborative executive setting.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution of Tax transformation initiatives and high-priority programs.
• Translates priorities into actionable plans with clear ownership and outcomes.
• Establishes governance routines and improves visibility and discipline.
• Partners with Finance and Tax to monitor budgets and performance trends.
• Acts as strategic advisor to Tax leadership and develops operations leaders.
