Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an in-person Part-time Office Experience Supervisor to lead a Tax Advisors and CSP team, driving a consultative client experience and seasonal tax growth in Austin. You will coach staff, coordinate with CCS teams, and ensure daily office execution while ramping up for the busy tax season.

You will manage schedules, mentor associates, and lead daily huddles to align priorities, with evening/weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

Strong people management experience in a service/retail environment.

Demonstrated coaching capability with direct feedback and behavior change.
Strong decision-making and judgment in fast-paced settings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for difficult conversations.
Data fluency to interpret KPIs, surveys, and coaching data.
Proficient with MS Office, Teams, and office systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead daily office operations, including appointment scheduling, capacity, conflicts, and walk-ins.
Coach and develop Tax Advisors and CSPs on client-facing professionalism and scheduling discipline.
Anchor coaching with a roadmap and protect coaching time from interruptions.
Conduct regular huddles and communicate priorities to associates.
Drive office growth targets: client count, revenue, conversions, service standards.
Recruit, interview, and onboard seasonal tax office associates.
Ensure seasonal readiness: training completion and new operating expectations.
Manage change with empathy, reinforcing the why and modeling new behaviors.
