Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Office Experience Manager in the Austin area to lead Tax Advisors and CSPs, coach the team, and ensure a disciplined, consultative client experience on-site during the busy tax season.

This role starts part-time in the fall and expands January–April with evening and weekend hours, requiring in-person work. You’ll partner with OEM and DGM to drive growth, service standards, and a positive office culture.

Qualifications

• People management experience with ability to grow and hold associates accountable.
• Strong client-centric mindset delivering consultative client experience.
• Coaching capability with direct feedback and behavior change.
• Strong decision-making in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for difficult conversations with clients and staff.
• Data fluency—interpreting KPI, survey, and coaching data to guide priorities.
• Proficient with MS Office, Teams, and office systems.
• Able to work a flexible, business-driven schedule.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily delivery of consultative client experience within the office, ensuring disciplined execution on every appointment.
• Model consultative, client-centric behaviors in all interactions and set the standard for the team.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for escalated client service concerns and resolve with sound judgment.
• Lead coaching conversations using a roadmap to drive accountable commitments.
