Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a part-time Office Experience Leader to translate directives from the OEM into disciplined daily execution and coaching. You will lead Tax Advisors and CSPs, coordinate with the CCS team, and drive the client experience while accelerating the office’s seasonal tax business.

You’ll start with a flexible fall schedule and move to a busier January–April season, with evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.

Qualifications

• Must have people management experience in a service or retail environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with a focus on differentiated consultative service.
• Demonstrated coaching capability for performance improvement.
• Solid decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for difficult conversations.
• Comfort interpreting KPI, survey, and coaching data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and reinforce a consultative client experience within the office.
• Coach and develop in-office team using a Coaching Roadmap.
• Lead day-to-day office operations, scheduling, capacity, and walk-in coverage.
• Drive office growth targets including client counts, revenue, conversion, and service standards.
• Support talent readiness, onboarding, and change adoption.
