Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a hands-on Office Experience Manager to lead a team of Tax Advisors and CSPs, delivering a disciplined, consultative client experience. You’ll drive coaching, schedule management, and on-site issue resolution to support seasonal tax growth while coordinating with OEM and DGM partners.

You will ramp up in fall with flexible part-time hours, then transition to a broader tax-season schedule including evenings and weekends. In-person, not remote.

Qualifications

• Must have people management experience in a service or retail environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset focused on delivering consultative experiences.
• Demonstrated coaching capability with direct feedback and behavior change.
• Solid decision-making and judgment in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for difficult conversations.
• Comfort interpreting KPI, survey, and coaching data to guide priorities.
• Proficient with MS Office, Teams, and office systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily delivery of consultative client experience in the office.
• Model consultative, client-centric behaviors in all client interactions.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for escalated client service concerns.
• Conduct client feedback sessions and translate insights into coaching.
• Lead front-line coaching using a structured roadmap and address gaps.
• Manage day-to-day office operations, scheduling, and timekeeping.
• Lead daily huddles, communicate priorities, and reinforce standards.
• Partner to execute growth plans targeting client count, revenue, and service standards.
