Job summary

Jackson Hewitt, a leading tax preparation service, is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee one office or kiosk within an assigned district. You will manage staff, drive tax prep quality, and support marketing efforts to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.

Under supervision, you will handle scheduling, performance monitoring, and reporting while maintaining confidential client information and ensuring timely tax return processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in tax preparation and supervisory roles preferred.
• PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise seasonal hourly staff at one location.
• Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for seasonal staff.
• Maximize customer service and sales.
• Perform administrative functions.
• Develop and monitor office work schedules.
• Review productivity and quality reports; take corrective action.
• Maintain filing system for tax returns.
• Print client checks and distribute refunds.
• Follow up with clients to file their tax returns.
