Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You will help clients with personal and business taxes, and collaborate with specialists across Intuit for a complete financial picture.

Role emphasizes local outreach, client retention, and using Intuit tools to deliver end-to-end service. Onsite hours 8am-5pm, Monday–Friday, with potential growth during peak season.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided.
• Must reside within the United States and be comfortable onsite at a TurboTax location.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and partnerships.
• Connect clients with cross-functional Intuit services (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit tools.
