Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide expert tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location. You will engage clients in person and virtually, building relationships and guiding them through Intuit's ecosystem of services.

The role emphasizes tax expertise, community outreach, and cross‑selling of related services, with on‑site hours typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and a focus on growing the local client base.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete required training and may wear company uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to build and grow a local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Develop long-term relationships to convert one-time transactions into ongoing engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions.
