Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation, expert guidance, and software support at a local TurboTax location.

You will engage with clients in-person and virtually, delivering end-to-end tax services and connecting customers with the broader Intuit ecosystem. The role emphasizes community outreach, client retention, and growth of TurboTax services, with strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and accurate tax outcomes.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Onsite work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Collaborate with team to ensure end-to-end client service.
