Job summary

Intuit seeks energized TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a TurboTax location. You will build relationships in the local community, drive client growth, and connect clients to Intuit’s full range of services including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Role requires onsite work with 20+ hours weekly, strong tax knowledge, and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and drive loyalty.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Develop relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in person and via video tools.
• Engage with clients to help them achieve financial goals and navigate tax challenges.
