Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to join on-site teams at new TurboTax locations across the United States. You'll deliver full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while engaging with clients in person and virtually.

You'll connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem, grow your local business, and help customers achieve positive financial outcomes through personalized service and community outreach. Onsite hours apply.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used for advertising purposes.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local client base and network with prospects.
• Introduce clients to Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and maintain trust for year-round client engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist clients in achieving financial goals.
