Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations in the United States, delivering full-service tax return preparation and expert guidance to individuals and businesses, in collaboration with a team of specialists.

You will help grow the local TurboTax client base, build lasting relationships, and provide end-to-end support from discovery to filing, while leveraging Intuit resources and marketing tools to create a trusted community presence.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and tax knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for the community.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by developing a local client base and organizing events with marketing support.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build relationships with clients to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and clear communication.
