Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns, while coordinating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience. You will build local relationships, attract new clients, and drive loyalty with the support of TurboTax marketing tools.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax tips and resources.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing a local client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning for year-round support.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience with empathy and professionalism.
