Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax expertise at a local TurboTax location.

You will prepare tax returns, offer expert tax advice, and coordinate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver an end-to-end client experience. You will grow the local TurboTax client base through community outreach, events, and partnerships, while supporting customers in person and virtually using Intuit tools.

Qualifications

• Must have EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney credentials with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Build local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships; act as a local face for TurboTax.
• Collaborate withIntuit ecosystem teams to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma services.
• Develop relationships with clients to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools, addressing tax inquiries and challenges.
