Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert advice at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to serve in-person and virtual clients. You will grow the local client base, coordinate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, and deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences while staying compliant and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business; uniforms; may be used for advertising with name/photo.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Collaborate with the broader team to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
