Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Community Manager with tax credit experience to join our team and oversee daily operations of multifamily communities under LIHTC guidelines.

Under the Regional Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, marketing, and resident relations, while ensuring compliance, timely reporting, and revenue growth across assigned properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' onsite Community Manager experience in multi-family housing or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CAM/ARM certification preferred.
• HCCP designation preferred for LIHTC experience.
• COS designation preferred for Section 8.
• 1 year LIHTC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all community associates.
• Ensure property follows tax credit requirements.
• Support customer service and leasing standards.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously.
• Direct all marketing efforts.
• Prepare lease paperwork for new and renewal agreements.
• Determine renewal rates and deliver renewal letters.
• Recommend rent adjustments to increase activity.
• Review files to determine unpaid balances and collect delinquencies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and other required reports.
• Organize resident activities and loyalty programs.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvements and profitability.
• Research competition quarterly to align market rates.
• Collect rents and deposits daily.
• Oversee occupancy, collections, and expenses budgeting.
