Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Store Supervisor to manage one office/kiosk within a district. You will supervise seasonal staff, support recruiting, and drive customer service and sales performance while ensuring accurate tax preparation processes.

You will handle administrative routines, scheduling, and quality control, maintaining filing systems and client refunds. PTIN and prior tax experience are valued. This on-site role offers hourly compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent related business experience.
• Course of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting preferred.
• Previous tax preparation experience and possess a PTIN.

Responsibilities

• Supervises one or more seasonal hourly staff members at a single location or kiosk.
• Communicates with the Manager on recruiting, interviewing and hiring of seasonal employees when applicable.
• Maximize customer service and increase sales.
• Performs administrative functions.
• Develops, reviews, approves, and monitors office work schedules and hours worked.
• Monitors associate performance to ensure quality, deadlines, and procedures.
• Reviews productivity reports and takes appropriate action.
• Maintains filing system for tax returns.
• Prints client checks each morning and distributes refunds.
• Follows up with clients to encourage return filings.
