Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Course of study in management or tax preparation preferred.
• Previous tax preparation experience and PTIN required.
• One year of supervisory experience desired.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and tax software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises seasonal hourly staff at a single location.
• Communicates with the Manager on recruiting and hiring of seasonal employees.
• Maximize customer service and increase sales.
• Performs administrative functions.
• Develops and monitors office work schedules and hours worked.
• Monitors associate performance to ensure quality standards and deadlines.
• Reviews productivity and other reports and takes action where necessary.
• Maintains a filing system for tax returns.
• Prints client checks and distributes refunds.
• Follows up with void/hold tax returns to persuade filing.
