Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support to in-person customers, while growing the local client base and building long-term relationships. As a trusted advisor, you’ll leverage marketing and software tools, uphold professional standards, and potentially engage with the community through events and content creation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and build long-term trust with clients.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools; address inquiries and tax challenges.
