Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support, serving as a trusted advisor and community ambassador to grow the client base.

You’ll engage with customers, deliver a best-in-class experience, and collaborate with marketing to build local presence while meeting the needs of diverse tax situations.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be onsite 20+ hours per week, including Sundays; front-facing retail environment.
• Interest in building local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert; content creation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a public face in the community.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them to long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing efforts.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and planning.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Use government sites and professional tools to deliver accurate solutions.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build trust.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools; address inquiries.
