Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in California. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, client consultations, and connect customers with the broader Intuit ecosystem for year-round support.

You will grow the local client base through community outreach, partner with marketing resources, and deliver personalized tax solutions, from simple W-2 filings to complex business scenarios, while maintaining a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attny with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state returns using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in ads.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities.
• Collaborate with team of specialists for end-to-end Intuit experience.
• Grow local TurboTax client base via outreach and events.
• Partner with marketing resources to drive loyalty and growth.
