Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a California location. You will provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services, serving in-person and virtual clients while collaborating with a broader team of tax and advisory specialists.

You will act as a local ambassador, building a client base and relationships within the community, leveraging TurboTax tools and marketing support to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes as required by law.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll/advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite availability 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and wear Intuit uniforms; consent to use name/photo for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as local community ambassador to grow TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem products (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) as appropriate.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
