Job summary

Backstage Winery is seeking a Part Time Hospitality Sales Associate in Napa. You will educate guests about the winery, wine portfolio, and winemaking practices to drive sales while building lasting relationships.

You will host tours and tastings, handle data entry for sales and leads, and support daily operations in the tasting room. The role requires a friendly, energetic demeanor, strong customer service and sales skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
Comfortable with public speaking and hosting groups.
Able to multi-task and work well in a team.
Must be 21 years or older; able to lift 42 lbs; stand for long periods; weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Educate guests on Backstage's history, wine portfolio, and winemaking practices to sell wine and build relationships.
Input detailed data into the POS system for sales and leads.
Host tours, tastings, and guest experiences for consumer and trade.
Assist with daily opening and closing duties including wine inventory.
Maintain tasting room and winery common areas.
Participate in winery events and meetings.
Attend tasting room and general winery meetings.
Participate in outbound/inbound phone sales and close sales.
