Depot Connect International in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a DOT inspection certified Truck & Trailer Mechanic with 2-5+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay range: $27.00–$41.00 per hour depending on experience. You'll diagnose, repair, and service mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, perform DOT-compliant inspections, and contribute to safety and reliability across our fleet.

Qualifikationen

• DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience.
• Experience on tank trailers and related systems preferred.
• Welding experience (TIG) optional but a plus.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience. This is for our Bakersfield, CA location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
