Zusammenfassung

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection certified mechanic for our Bakersfield, CA location. The role involves diagnosing failures, servicing tank trailers, and repairing suspensions, with a focus on air brake systems. TIG welding is optional but welcome.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay range is $27.00 to $41.00 per hour, depending on experience, with skill-based rate reviews every six months. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and more.

Qualifikationen

• DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2–5+ years of experience.
• Diagnose failures on mechanical/electrical tank trailer systems.
• Tank service, repair, and trailer suspension work.
• Experience with air brake systems; TIG welding is a plus.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to DOT HM183 hazmat standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience. This is for our Bakersfield, CA location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
