Job summary

Depot Connect International in Kent, WA seeks a DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience. This role requires diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers. Expect tank service, suspension work, and air brake system duties in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is M-F, 6:00–2:30 or 7:00–3:30. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $42.00 per hour, with skill-based reviews every 6 months. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience. This is for our Kent, WA location!

Shift Hours:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range:

$22.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards
• HM183 certified preferred

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
