Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Memphis, TN is seeking a Tanker Trailer Mechanic with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience. The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing tank service, valve and gasket work, and ensuring DOT HM183 compliance.

Shift is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with pay range of $22–$36 per hour, based on experience. DCI offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with generous match, PTO including holidays, tuition

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose failures on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with DOT HM183 inspections.

Responsibilities

Tanker Trailer Mechanic

We are currently searching for DOT inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.


• Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets


• Trailer suspension installation and repair


• Experience with air brake systems and repairs


• Ability to use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills


• MIG & TIG aluminum and stainless steel


• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds


• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds


• Must be able to fit through a 16\" tank trailer manhole


• Must be able to work in confined spaces
