Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a DOT-registered Trailer Mechanic in West Memphis, AR to perform tank trailer repairs, diagnostics and inspections. Shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for skill growth and safety training.

Work involves diagnosing failures, Betts valves and gaskets, suspension work, air brake systems, TIG welding, and using tablets and handheld diagnostic tools for DOT HM183/hazmat compliance.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on tank trailers.
• Experience with Betts valves, gaskets and related components.
• Repair and install trailer suspension systems.
• Work with air brake systems and related diagnostics.
• Use handheld diagnostic devices and tablets for troubleshooting.
• TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel.

Trailer Mechanic

We are currently searching for DOT registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
