Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support nationwide tank construction and repair projects. The role requires arc and torch welding, reading fabrication drawings, and operating lifting equipment.

You will work as part of a team across multiple sites, following safety protocols and ensuring on-time delivery. Candidates should have strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to learn, with at least a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to learn and good attendance are essential.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate lifting equipment and power tools safely.
• Weld plates using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Read detailed drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in training.
