Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder for nationwide projects across the United States. The role involves arc and torch cutting, welding tanks and related structures, and reading detailed fabrication drawings.

Qualifications

• Welding experience and ability to weld is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to job duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, and other power tools.
• Weld plates using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc methods.
• Use lifting and handling equipment safely.
• Read and interpret detailed tank erection and fabrication drawings.
• Plan sequence and methods for fitting up, welding, repairing and constructing tanks.
• Conduct safety trainings and audits as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
