Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is looking for a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support nationwide tank construction projects. The role involves arc and torch cutting, welding with SMAW/FCAW, reading detailed drawings, and planning the sequence of fitting up and constructing tanks.

Candidates should be able to operate lifting equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with crew members across multiple sites. This is a nationwide, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Weld plate with various processes (7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW).
• Read detailed erection and fabrication drawings.
• Plan sequence and methods for fitting up, welding, and constructing tanks.
