Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to join our nationwide team. The role involves welding, cutting, and assembling above-ground storage tanks across multiple sites, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, blowers, grinders, and other power tools.
• Weld plate using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW; FCAW; submerged arc welding.
• Set up and use lifting equipment and tank-specific scaffolding.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Complete safety analyses, audits, and site-specific training.
• Collaborate professionally with crew members and follow directions.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
