Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support nationwide projects. Responsibilities include arc cutting, welding, rigging, and operating heavy equipment.

The role requires strong communication, safety focus, and the ability to work with a crew on tank fabrication and repairs. Candidates must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and willing to pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Be willing to undergo background checks and drug testing.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate power tools, generators, compressors, tuggers, and grinders.
• Weld using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc methods.
• Utilize lifting equipment and rigging gear for tank construction.
• Read and interpret erection and fabrication drawings.
• Conduct safety training and adhere to site safety plans.
• Work with team members to ensure on-time project delivery.
