Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to join our nationwide operations. You will perform arc cutting, welding, and fabrication on above-ground storage tanks, reading drawings and planning sequences with attention to safety.

On-site roles require reliable attendance and the willingness to learn our systems. We offer competitive pay and a team-focused work culture across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Prompt and reliable attendance is required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt on-site procedures.
• Ability to weld is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc cutting, gouging, and torch work on tanks.
• Operate power tools, generators, and lifting equipment safely.
• Weld tank components using SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Read drawings and plan fitting, welding, and fabrication sequences.
• Participate in safety trainings and follow site procedures.
