Job summary

EY is seeking a Technical Product & Innovation Manager to support the Digital Talent Strategy Lead in building a product-led talent technology organization. You will shape governance, investment strategy, a multi-horizon roadmap, and operating disciplines to manage a portfolio at enterprise scale, aligning strategy with user needs and delivery outcomes.

You will lead Client Zero initiatives, explore emerging capabilities like generative AI, and manage an innovation pipeline from discovery

Qualifications

Relevant experience in technical product management, HR or talent technology, enterprise platforms, digital transformation, product operations, or technology consulting.
Demonstrated success establishing or maturing a product organization with governance, operating rhythms, lifecycle practices and cross-functional accountability.
Experience defining a technology investment strategy and a technical roadmap that connect business priorities, architecture, funding, sequencing, risk and value realization.
Experience leading Client Zero, internal-first, pilot, or incubation initiatives through implementation, adoption, measurement and enterprise scale.
Experience managing roadmaps and backlogs, structured discovery, translating needs into requirements, and coordinating delivery across business and technical teams.
Experience with enterprise HR platforms or service-delivery technologies, including ServiceNow, employee portals, case and knowledge management, workflow automation, or similar platforms preferred.
Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data flows, security, privacy, testing, release management, and platform lifecycle practices.
Strong analytical and financial judgment; bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the talent technology investment strategy and multi-horizon technical roadmap, translating business and Talent priorities into sequenced investments, modernization paths and measurable outcomes.
Maintain an integrated view of talent technology inventory, portfolio, demand, delivery capacity, dependencies, risk, cost and value.
Prepare decision-ready recommendations balancing user value, strategic alignment, feasibility, effort, cost, risk, architectural fit and outcomes.
Establish governance, operating rhythms, lifecycle standards, ownership, documentation, escalation paths and decision rights across the portfolio.
Create forums connecting strategy, investment decisions, demand, architecture, delivery, risk and value realization with clear criteria.
Track adoption, experience, quality, reliability, efficiency, cost, risk and realized value; advise on scaling, consolidation or retirement decisions.
Align Talent leaders, users, product managers, technical teams, vendors and partners on outcomes, requirements, constraints, quality expectations and commitments.
Partner with Demand Management to assess ideas, enhancements, integrations, defects and modernization opportunities; define problem, users, outcomes and success metrics.
Translate validated needs into business cases, processes, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and decision documentation.
Coordinate refinement, estimation, dependency management, release planning, prototyping, testing, UAT, launch readiness and post-launch reviews with Enterprise Technology and partners.
Lead Client Zero talent technology initiatives from use-case to enterprise-scale adoption and measurement.
Evaluate emerging capabilities (generative AI, agentic workflows, automation, self-service) and move viable opportunities into governed experiments.
Manage an innovation and enhancement pipeline advancing ideas from discovery through adoption and measurement.
What success looks like: governance, roadmaps, Client Zero, integrated portfolio, discovery and backlog excellence, enterprise risk management.
Within 12-24 months: operationalize product governance, define investment strategy, launch Client Zero, ensure integrated inventory view, establish intake-to-delivery processes, manage innovation pipeline.
