Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking an Employee Experience Manager to oversee recruitment, development, and store productivity. The role includes back-of-house operations and hardlines oversight, plus ensuring training compliance and data reporting.

You will drive performance, coach staff, and manage vendor, systems, and project-related activities across 12–24 month initiatives, contributing to strategic store objectives.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Work varied schedule with two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Must have a working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Focus on individual and store production goals while maximizing donated value through sustainable practices and secondary market efforts to achieve budgeted sales and margin.
• Coaches employees on their progress and performance as needed.
• Manages hiring and onboarding for new hires; regularly assesses progress and readiness.
• Oversees hardline product rotation to ensure a continuous flow of new merchandise and product availability.
• Supports oversight of associates and non-exempt leadership ensuring donation and POS coverage; maintains customer service levels.
• Oversee online training compliance and monitor employee performance, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Enter report data accurately and timely; coach on data accuracy.
• Analyze reports to identify trends and provide actionable insights to store leadership.
• Communicate and implement policies and procedures; manage communication binders and boards.
• Monitor the sales floor for compliance with operational standards and safety guidelines; maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Recognize employee strengths and delegate challenging work to boost development and productivity.
• Lead and develop talent; partner with coworkers on development.
• Assist in project and change management; participate as team member or SME.
• Research, analyze, and evaluate situations; solve advanced problems.
• Maintain knowledge of professional principles and practices; uphold departmental policies.
