Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago Willowbrook store is seeking a Store Manager to drive store and donation center operations, achieve sales and revenue goals, and promote an engaging customer experience within the local community.

The role oversees daily operations, staff, budgeting, and program implementation while ensuring compliance and safety. Strong leadership, flexibility in scheduling, and proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or experience equivalency.
• Minimum of 3 years' managerial experience.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Proficient in Windows-based PC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing talent: manage departmental structure, development and training of staff.
• Project and change management: plan and manage projects of low to moderate complexity.
• Community engagement: champion Goodwill's community engagement initiatives.
• Optimize process workflow, inventory management and staff schedules to maximize output.
• Achieve customer and donor service goals.
• Maintain store environment, staffing and production quality to meet revenue and margin goals.
• Train others on processes, equipment and customer service.
• Supervise safety audits and follow up on items.
• Prepare accurate projections from budgets and reports.
• Anticipate business needs and solve problems.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
