Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago West Bend store is seeking an Employee Experience Manager (EEM) who will lead recruitment, employee development, and store productivity to meet sales and margin targets.

The role oversees back-of-house operations, training compliance, and collaborates with leadership on data-driven insights, budgeting input, and vendor interactions for 12–24 month projects.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Work varied schedule and flexible hours; at least two closing shifts per week and every other weekend as scheduled.
• Must have a working phone that allows for communication accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Focus on individual and store production goals while maximizing donation value to hit budgeted sales and margin.
• Manages hiring and onboarding for new hires and regularly assesses progress.
• Oversees hardline product rotation to ensure fresh merchandise and availability.
• Support supervision of associates and non-exempt leadership with donation/POS coverage and customer service.
• Ensure employees complete online training requirements and monitor performance with feedback.
• Enter and monitor report data, coaching for accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze reports to identify trends and present actionable insights to leadership.
• Communicate and implement policies, manage binders/boards for team updates.
• Monitor sales floor for safety/compliance, maintain clean, organized environment.
• Recognize strengths and delegate tasks to boost development and productivity.
• Lead and develop talent with partners to advance their growth.
• Engage in project/change management, balancing project work with routine duties.
• Problem solving with light supervision; research, analyze, and report findings.
• Demonstrate advanced technical skill and knowledge of departmental principles.
• Champion community engagement initiatives and participate in partner activities.
