Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Personnel Coordinator to be the in-store HR go-to for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and records management. You will help welcome new team members, maintain employee records, and ensure timely pay, while organizing associate events and supporting training initiatives.

We value people-focused professionals who can build strong relationships across teams and with store management, while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience in human resources, associate relations, or related field preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced retail or service environment a plus.
• Knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing needs and manage full-cycle recruitment.
• Conduct interviews, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions.
• Represent the company at local recruiting events and job fairs.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, time and attendance records, and process associate data changes.
• Serve as liaison between store associates and HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
• Assist with performance management, leaves of absence, and compliance documentation.
• Support scheduling processes and operational programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
