Job summary

Brookestone View seeks a People Development Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee development within a mission-driven nonprofit. You’ll collaborate with leaders to shape staffing, engage employees, and promote a positive culture.

You’ll manage records, assist with retention initiatives, and help maintain confidentiality while delivering a high-quality employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• HR, recruiting, employee relations, or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for employee engagement, talent development, and workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Leading recruiting efforts to attract, interview, and hire quality candidates.
• Creating a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members.
• Assisting employees with benefit programs, enrollment, and questions.
• Supporting employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive work environment.
• Coordinating training, education, and professional development opportunities.
• Partnering with department leaders on staffing strategies and workforce needs.
• Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR compliance standards are met.
• Serving as a trusted resource for team member questions and concerns.
• Assisting with retention efforts and recognition programs.
• Championing the mission, values, and culture of Brookestone View.
