Qualifications

  • 2+ years in HR, recruitment, employee relations, or related experience.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Position Overview

The People Development Coordinator (Human Resource Coordinator) serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and team member development.

This role combines strategic human resources responsibilities with relationship-focused leadership, helping ensure that team members have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

As the People Development Coordinator, you will:

  • Recruit and attract qualified candidates through sourcing, interviewing, and selection activities
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired team members
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment processes
  • Promote engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace satisfaction and team morale
  • Support educational programs, training opportunities, and professional development efforts
  • Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs and workforce planning initiatives
  • Maintain personnel records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to employee questions and help foster positive employee relations
  • Assist with retention strategies designed to support long-term team member success
  • Serve as an ambassador for Brookestone View's mission, values, and culture
Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • Two or more years of Human Resources, recruitment, employee relations, or related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
