Brookestone View in Broken Bow, NE is seeking a People Development Coordinator to support employees across the full employment lifecycle with a focus on recruiting and onboarding, training and professional development coordination, and day-to-day HR support.

Based onsite, you will partner with department leaders and serve as a trusted resource for team member questions, aiming to strengthen culture and retention within a nonprofit mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The People Development Coordinator supports employees across the full employment lifecycle, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding, training and professional development coordination, and day-to-day HR support. Based in Broken Bow, NE, this onsite role partners with department leaders and serves as a trusted resource for team member questions and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting activities to attract qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions
• Create a welcoming onboarding experience for new team members
• Assist employees with benefit programs, including enrollment support and benefit-related questions
• Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment
• Coordinate training, education, and professional development opportunities
• Partner with department leaders on staffing strategies and workforce needs
• Maintain employee records and help ensure HR compliance standards are met
• Provide guidance as a trusted point of contact for team member concerns and questions
• Support retention efforts and recognition programs
• Champion the mission, values, and culture of Brookestone View

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
• Human Resources, recruiting, employee relations, or leadership experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
