Job summary

Cook Children’s in Fort Worth is seeking a Talent Acquisition Navigator to support onboarding and new-hire processes. This role coordinates background checks, pre-employment screenings, I-9 formation, and new hire paperwork while assisting recruiters and candidates throughout orientation.

Ideal candidates bring HR office experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems; Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Three years’ HR/administrative experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook; ability to learn HRIS/ERP.
• Workday experience highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, telephone and communication skills.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the background check process and ensure screenings are scheduled.
• Assist with pre-employment tasks and paperwork for new hires.
• Manage internal transfer cross-boarding events and CPR/licensure collection.
• Prepare I-9 documents and facilitate onboarding activities.
• Source candidates and support job fairs and postings.
• Review applications as needed and respond to inquiries from candidates.
