Job summary

Cook Children's Talent Acquisition Navigator supports onboarding and new hire processes. You will oversee background checks, schedule screenings, manage cross-boarding for internal transfers, collect licensure, prepare I-9, and facilitate paperwork.

The role serves as a resource for new hires and transfers, distributing materials and assisting the Employment Assistant in pre-employment tasks. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• Three years' business office administration or HR experience required with progressive responsibilities.
• Software experience to include Microsoft Office, Outlook and the ability to learn new software including HRIS and ERP systems.
• Workday system experience highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, telephone and communication skills.
• Critical thinking skills; ability to make appropriate job decisions following policy and procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external candidates.
• Bilingual/Spanish, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the background check process.
• Verify that pre-employment screenings are scheduled.
• Manage internal transfer cross-boarding events.
• Collect CPR cards and necessary licensure.
• Prepare I-9 documents.
• Facilitate new hire paperwork.
• Source candidates and help with job fairs.
• Help review applications as needed.
