Job summary

Knobelsdorff Enterprises in Minnesota seeks a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Talent Acquisition team and Electric Division. You will coordinate interviews, manage candidate workflows in the ATS, and help onboard new hires, contributing to a positive candidate experience.

You’ll partner with HR, IT, Safety, and hiring managers, ensuring paperwork, pre-employment checks, and travel arrangements are handled efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, talent acquisition, HR, or related role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiters and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews and serve as a point of contact for candidates.
• Manage candidate activity and workflows within the ATS.
• Post and maintain job openings on internal and external job boards.
• Support offer letters, acceptance documentation, and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, employment verifications, and other pre-employment activities.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and track open positions.
• Support career fairs, hiring events, employee referral programs, and recruiting outreach.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, reporting, and hiring updates.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-boarding communications, required paperwork, orientations, and training schedules.
• Coordinate new hire travel arrangements as needed.
• Partner with HR, hiring managers, IT, Safety, and other teams to prepare new hires for their first day.
• Monitor onboarding milestones and follow up to support a positive new hire experience.
• Support new hire engagement and retention efforts during the first year of employment.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and create efficiencies.
