Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Talent Acquisition team and the Electric Division. You will coordinate interviews, manage ATS workflows, and assist with onboarding, pre-employment steps, and documentation to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, Safety, and hiring managers to uphold KE's safety and compliance standards while moving quickly in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, talent acquisition, HR, or a related role.
• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting recruiting efforts in construction, energy, manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, or field service environments preferred.
• Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, and employment best practices preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews and serve as a point of contact for candidates.
• Manage candidate activity and workflows within the ATS.
• Post and maintain job openings on internal and external job boards.
• Support offer letters, acceptance documentation, and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, employment verifications, and other pre-employment activities.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and track open positions.
• Support career fairs, hiring events, employee referral programs, and recruiting outreach.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, reporting, and hiring updates.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-boarding communications, required paperwork, orientations, and training schedules.
• Coordinate new hire travel arrangements as needed.
• Partner with HR, hiring managers, IT, Safety, and other teams to prepare new hires for their first day.
• Monitor onboarding milestones and follow up to support a positive new hire experience.
• Support new hire engagement and retention efforts during the first year of employment.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and create efficiencies.
• Maintain recruiting, onboarding, and personnel records with confidentiality.
• Help ensure recruiting and onboarding processes align with company policies and employment requirements.
• Support audits, reporting needs, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with Talent Acquisition and HR projects, process improvements, and special initiatives.
