Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking an educational specialist to analyze data from assessments and coordinate with principals and teachers to optimize intervention time. You will provide explicit instruction to small groups and supplement instruction using the U-46 Literacy Framework.

The role requires a IL PEL license, Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred, and strong familiarity with MTSS, SEL, and IL/Common Core standards. This is a nine-month position with a $33.53 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• MLE: Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL)
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with MTSS process, SEL, and academic Tiered Instruction
• In-depth knowledge of Illinois Learning Standards and Common Core
• Experience with data tools: Tetra Data, Aims Web, Excel, Word, NWEA Crystal Reports, STAR Assessments
• Knowledge of guided reading practices

Responsibilities

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing data from district and classroom assessments to identify students' specific needs.
• Coordinating with the school principal and classroom teachers to develop and follow an intervention schedule that optimizes instructional time.
• Providing explicit, research-based instruction to small groups focusing on identified areas of need.
• Supplementing instruction using the U-46 Literacy Framework.
• Compiling and sharing individual student progress data with principals, teachers, and parents for interim reports and report cards.
• Providing verification reports at Service Team meetings regarding student progress monitoring data.
• Serving as a contributing member of the Building Intervention Team.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL).
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills (written and verbal) preferred.
• Familiarity with the MTSS process, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and academic Tiered Instruction.
• In-depth knowledge of the Illinois Learning Standards and Common Core.
• Experience with computer skills including data entry, Tetra Data, Aims Web, Excel, Word, NWEA Crystal Reports, and STAR Assessment reports (preferred).
• Knowledge of guided reading practices.

Compensation & Benefits

• Nine-month position with hours determined by funding.
• Hourly rate of $33.53.

Physical Demands

• Work operates in a professional office environment.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs with proper technique.
